Growing together with SENTINEL

Since the beginning of 2020, the cooperation between us and SETTINEL Electronics Co., Ltd. has been carried out vigorously. Over the past three years, we have met, gotten to know each other, understood each other, and grown together.
 

Application and Advantages of Technology

In early 2020, our first project used the SENTINEL IP67 distributed I/O module, models ELPN-IM16-0003, ELPN-IOM88-0003, ELPN-OM16-0003. The distributed I/O module was installed directly in the field, allowing for direct signal collection at the signal generation point and coupling between modules via Ethernet connection, without the need for a control cabinet. This reduces installation costs and shortens debugging time at the end customer's side. Not only is it convenient for interconnection, but it also significantly reduces wiring costs, ensuring reliable and stable communication and ensuring smooth project delivery.

Considering the cost and subsequent project requirements, we are gradually transitioning to the use of IP20 remote I/O modules, such as models CMPN-IM32-0001, CMPN-IOM16-0001, and CMPN-OM32-0001. These modules have been widely applied in subsequent projects, significantly improving project efficiency.

However, growth always comes with challenges. In March 2023, we encountered usage issues with the CMPN series bus modules at the site in Kuching, Malaysia. In response, SENTINEL Company swiftly dispatched two technicians to assist us in resolving the problem. After five days of continuous efforts, the issue was identified and successfully resolved, earning our full recognition as well as the recognition of our clients in Malaysia.

Facing Challenges and Problem Solving

Over the course of more than three years of working together, SENTINEL Electronics Co., Ltd. has not only demonstrated exceptional product quality, but also impressed us with their professional attitude towards partners and efficient after-sales service. I remember at the beginning, there were problems with communication instability due to improper connection of network cable connectors. The SENTINEL team immediately recorded a video to provide guidance and ensure proper operation. When the feedback module was damaged on-site, Mr. Zhu, the head of SENTINEL, personally led the team and used an oscilloscope to measure the voltage on-site, successfully helping us solve the issue of voltage instability.

SENTINEL provides timely after-sales service, support can be found at any time when problems arise, and on-site issues can be quickly resolved. It is precisely because of such excellent technical support and after-sales service that our Company is able to successfully deliver one project after another and steadily become a leader in the photovoltaic automation industry.
