The Application and Solutions of SENTINEL Products in the Food and Beverage Industry

I am a technical engineer in the beer machinery industry in Guilin. My first encounter with SENTINEL's products was during a technical exchange and communication meeting. Later on, we selected SENTINEL's products for our renovation project, and their products played a significant role in this renovation. Today, I will share how we chose and used SENTINEL's products, as well as our experiences and recommendations during the usage process.
SENTINEL's proximity switches and connectors are products that we frequently use. When it comes to centralized proximity switch wiring, SENTINEL's Profinet digital input module is our first choice. Not only does it greatly reduce our wiring costs, but it also decreases our workload.
I remember the first time I came into contact with SENTINEL products was at a technical exchange meeting. Among many similar products, SENTINEL's products have won our recognition with their unique appearance, excellent quality, and performance. Later, we learned that SENTINEL has its own research and development team and has the ability to develop various industrial communication protocols, such as PROFINET, EtherCAT, CC-Link, and IO-Link. This has brought great convenience to our on-site remote distributed control. For our food and beverage industry, SENTINEL's sensors have excellent performance in anti-interference, appearance, and waterproofing, comparable to imported brands.
Among the solutions provided by SENTINEL, what we trust the most is their ability to solve practical problems. For example, in our on-site wiring, there is a situation where tape is used, especially in the valve array wiring concentration. The wiring is messy and easily comes loose, and it can also have poor contact due to moisture. In response to this, SENTINEL provides customized injection molding connectors, which not only solve the aforementioned problems but also greatly improve the aesthetics and stability of our on-site wiring. In addition, their PROFINET digital input and output distributed IO modules have greatly reduced our construction period and costs.
On the other hand, I believe there is still a lot of space for improvement in SENTINEL's products. We hope that SENTINEL can develop some targeted sensors and connectors, especially in the food and beverage industry, where many wet areas require a higher level of protection. We hope that SENTINEL can develop proximity switches that meet the hygiene grade 316L stainless steel fluid sensors and have a Teflon coating.
SENTINEL's products have won our recognition and trust with their excellent quality and distinctive features, as well as their solutions to practical problems. We look forward to SENTINEL continuously improving their products and better serving the food and beverage industry.
