Achieving Stable Operation of New Energy Vehicle Battery Swap Stations through Technological Innovation

Against the backdrop of the rapid development in the new energy vehicle industry, our company has remained committed to providing the highest quality battery swap station services. We are well aware that the success of a battery swap station project not only relies on advanced control systems, but also requires close cooperation with excellent supply partners. It is for this reason that we have established a deep partnership with SENTINEL. We use Mitsubishi's control systems and SENTINEL's remote I/O modules, and the combination of these two allows our battery swap stations to exhibit outstanding performance in various application environments.


 

In the early stages of our collaboration, our new energy vehicle exchange stations primarily used Mitsubishi's control system in conjunction with SENTINEL's remote I/O modules. At that time, SENTINEL was the only domestic manufacturer capable of supporting the Mitsubishi CC-LINK IE Field Basic (Ethernet) network protocol. As one of SENTINEL's first users, we received their professional technical support. Their technical team visited our site and provided continuous technical tracking for a week, ensuring the stable and efficient operation of the entire system.

With the changing market and technological advancements, our business is constantly expanding. In the commercial vehicle (heavy-duty truck) battery exchange station project, we have started to explore the use of SENTINEL's EtherCAT protocol network module.In such harsh environments as high altitude and large temperature differences in Xinjiang, this system can still operate stably, demonstrating the high reliability of the product.

Meanwhile, SENTINEL's products continue to be upgraded and improved. In our new project, we once again used modules with the CC-LINK IE Field Basic protocol. We found that in this batch of products, the input and output modules are integrated together, making the application more convenient. The issue of not being able to change the IP network segment that we previously encountered has also been resolved.
 

Looking back at this cooperation process, we highly appreciate SENTINEL's products: stable quality and prompt service. What impressed us the most is when we raised the demand for IO-Link master modules that support the CC-LINK IE Field Basic network, Mr. Zhu, after receiving our request, developed the corresponding product in just about three months and invited us to try it out.


 

Through our collaboration with SENTINEL, our battery swapping station has achieved comprehensive improvements in stability and reliability. We look forward to more innovation and breakthroughs in the future.
