Product Launch | Full Series of IO-Link Converters Supporting Voltage, Current, and Pt100 Signals

New Product Launch: Defining a More Flexible IO-Link Access Method

In response to the increasingly diverse signal access needs in industrial environments, SENTINEL officially introduces five new IO-Link analog converters. These new models cover three typical signal input and output types: voltage, current, and temperature. Designed based on the IO-Link V1.1 standard and featuring a unified M12 A-code interface, they are compact, precise, and deployable on demand—perfectly embodying the principle that "every signal point deserves accurate access."
These converters are not replacements for multi-channel sub-nodes but strong complements. Through a “one-to-one” modular design, each analog or temperature signal can independently access the IO-Link network in the most suitable way, enabling a flexible, lean, and cost-effective deployment strategy.
Why Choose One-to-One IO-Link Converters?
In traditional solutions, even if there’s only one sensor or analog signal at the site, users are often forced to purchase a full multi-channel sub-node device, leading to resource waste, higher costs, and complex device management.
SENTINEL’s newly released converters offer an alternative:
- One converter per signal, deploy on demand
- No need for a complete station, invest only in one channel
- Supports multiple signal types, highly adaptable and combinable
- Unified interface, plug-and-play, easy to debug
Simple yet powerful—making IO-Link access “just right.”
Overview of Five Products: Broader Signal Coverage, More Flexible Scenarios
CIOL-1AO-SC: Single-Channel Current Output—Lightweight Choice for Actuator Control

Designed for control applications, CIOL-1AO-SC offers analog output of 4-20mA or 0-20mA, suitable for driving field actuators like proportional valves or inverters. It supports 3-wire output, up to 500Ω load, and delivers output accuracy of up to 0.1% F.S., ideal for precision control tasks.
Perfect for scenarios requiring only one valve—no need for a complete output substation, saving both cost and space.
CIOL-2AI-SC: Dual-Channel Current Input—Balancing Density with Flexible Deployment

Although dual-channel, CIOL-2AI-SC supports independent use in distributed deployment scenarios. For example, if two sensors are positioned on opposite ends of equipment, two devices can be installed nearby respectively, enhancing installation flexibility.
It supports 4-20mA/0-20mA input, up to 22mA current, and 0.5% F.S. accuracy. With M12 A-code interface and up to 200mA sensor power supply.
CIOL-2VI-SC: A Versatile Tool for Voltage Input Scenarios

Designed for 0-10V analog voltage sensors such as potentiometers and pressure sensors, CIOL-2VI-SC offers dual-channel input with max voltage of 11V, supporting millivolt-level resolution for precise signal transmission.
Its output structure, LED indicators, and connection method are highly consistent with CIOL-2AI-SC, enabling standardized deployment and quick replacement across signal types.
CIOL-2VO-SC: Efficient Bridge for Voltage Control Signal Output

Used for 0-10V control interfaces common in devices, CIOL-2VO-SC supports dual-channel output, minimum load impedance 4.7kΩ, 0.1% F.S. accuracy, and output resolution in mV—meeting most industrial control requirements.
Ideal for multi-device voltage control, assigning one CIOL-2VO-SC per control point ensures organized signal transmission like a "digital nervous system."
CIOL-PT12-SC: Dedicated Channel for Temperature Signals—No More Barriers to RTD Access

Specifically designed for Pt100 RTD sensors, CIOL-PT12-SC supports 2/3/4-wire input, with a measurement range from -200°C to 600°C and accuracy of ±0.5°C. Input data is transmitted in 0.1°C units, ensuring high-resolution temperature monitoring.
Perfect for applications requiring just one temperature point—such as single-axis temperature control, test platforms, or localized process points—avoiding resource waste from multi-channel modules.
All five models share the same IO-Link interface, installation form, and debugging method—making deployment and standardization easier and integrating seamlessly with existing IO-Link master systems.
Tailored for Diverse Deployment Scenarios
For setups with low device density or widely distributed sensors, “one sensor, one sub-node” is clearly inefficient. These one-to-one converters allow targeted, on-demand combination—building a lean IO-Link architecture.
Examples:
- A small device needs just one temperature point? Use CIOL-PT12-SC.
- A control system requires one analog output? Simplify with CIOL-1AO-SC.
- Numerous distributed analog inputs? Combine CIOL-2AI-SC units for resource-saving performance.
This flexible, independent deployment approach aligns closely with real-world needs, reduces overall costs, and leaves room for future system expansion.
Conclusion: A New Dimension in IO-Link Access Starts with These Five Products
The five IO-Link converters newly released by SENTINEL are not merely supplements to traditional access methods—they expand the boundaries of IO-Link in industrial automation through their “small modules, big impact” design.
They allow signal access to be based on single modules rather than complete stations—enabling precise cost control and scenario-specific adaptation. As industrial digitization advances, such modular, flexible products will become essential in smart factory deployments.
